Hazlo así: lee una palabra, imagina una escena y pulsa «Ver inglés». Puedes escucharla con «▶». Di su significado y pulsa «Preparada ✓». Cada palabra preparada suma 5 XP una sola vez. Son cuatro grupos de cinco; completa uno antes de pasar al siguiente. Los adjetivos del prime están en masculino: contento → contenta; tranquilo → tranquila.

How to prepare: read a word, picture a scene and press “Show English”. Use “▶” to hear it. Say its meaning, then press “Ready ✓”. Each prepared word earns 5 XP once. Complete each group of five before moving on. Prime adjectives are masculine; change the ending for feminine forms: contento → contenta, tranquilo → tranquila.

🎮 Empieza aquí: cómo jugar

Tu misión: descubre cómo se sienten Emma y Liam en seis situaciones. Cada escena resuelta hace crecer una flor. ¡Consigue las seis!

1. Elige el modo en el menú «Modo / Mode» que encontrarás debajo: «Una persona» o «Dos personas». La primera escena ya está preparada. El arcade final tiene su propio botón «Comenzar».
2. Baja hasta «Escena / Scene». Lee la situación. Si prefieres escucharla, pulsa «▶ Escuchar / Listen». «■ Detener / Stop» corta la voz. El audio no se activa solo.
3. Piensa en una emoción. Si quieres, di en voz alta: «Emma está… porque…» o «Liam está… porque…». No necesitas escribir, grabar tu voz ni activar el micrófono.
4. Pulsa una de las cuatro tarjetas con una cara y una emoción en español. En móvil, tócala con el dedo; en ordenador, haz clic. Con teclado, usa Tab para llegar a la tarjeta y Enter para elegir.
5. Lee el mensaje que aparece debajo. Si fallas, elige otra tarjeta: no pierdes puntos. Si aciertas, aparece la frase completa, ganas 10 XP y crece una flor. Pulsa «Escuchar» otra vez si quieres oír esa frase completa.
6. Pulsa «Siguiente / Next» para avanzar. Este botón solo funciona después de acertar. El juego no cambia de escena automáticamente.
7. Completa las seis escenas. Llegarás a 60 XP y seis flores. Al final, «Repasar con ayuda / Review tricky scenes» permite repetir las escenas en las que fallaste o abriste el neurotip. Si no hubo ninguna, el botón queda desactivado.

¿Necesitas ayuda? Abre «Traducción / English clue» para leer la situación en inglés. Abre «🧠 Neurotip / Need help?» para ver una pista sobre la emoción. Abrir estas ayudas no resta puntos.

Dos jugadores: jugad en el mismo dispositivo. La primera persona representa a Emma (Player 1) y la segunda a Liam (Player 2). Mirad «Turno / Turn» antes de responder y pasaos el dispositivo al pulsar «Siguiente». Compartís las flores y los XP; podéis hablar antes de elegir. El nombre del turno indica quién juega, aunque la escena describa al otro personaje.

Pausa: «Pausa / Pause» oculta la escena y detiene la voz. Pulsa «Reanudar / Resume» para seguir. Estas seis escenas no tienen cronómetro; el arcade final permite elegir con o sin tiempo.

Reiniciar: «Reiniciar escenas / Restart scenes» borra flores, puntos y progreso de estas seis escenas y vuelve a la primera escena. El navegador guarda el progreso automáticamente cuando lo permite; al volver, usa el mismo navegador y dispositivo.

Sobre el repaso: al iniciarlo se retiran temporalmente las flores y los puntos de las escenas que vas a repetir. Los recuperas al resolverlas; la puntuación máxima sigue siendo 60 XP.

🎮 Start here: how to play

Your mission: discover how Emma and Liam feel in six situations. Solve each scene to grow a flower. Collect all six!

1. Choose a mode from the “Modo / Mode” menu below: “One player” or “Two players”. The first scene is ready to play. The final arcade has its own Start button.
2. Scroll down to “Escena / Scene”. Read the situation. Press “▶ Escuchar / Listen” to hear it. Press “■ Detener / Stop” to stop the voice. Audio never starts automatically.
3. Think of a feeling. You can say “Emma está… porque…” or “Liam está… porque…” aloud. You do not need to type, record your voice or switch on a microphone.
4. Select one of the four face cards. Tap on a phone or click on a computer. With a keyboard, use Tab to reach a card and Enter to select it.
5. Read the feedback below the cards. A wrong answer lets you try again without losing points. A correct answer reveals a complete Spanish sentence, awards 10 XP and grows one flower. Press “Listen” again to hear the complete sentence.
6. Press “Siguiente / Next” to continue. This button becomes available only after a correct answer. Scenes do not advance automatically.
7. Complete all six scenes to earn 60 XP and six flowers. At the end, “Repasar con ayuda / Review tricky scenes” repeats scenes where you made a mistake or opened the neurotip. It is disabled if there are no tricky scenes.

Need help? Open “Traducción / English clue” to read the situation in English. Open “🧠 Neurotip / Need help?” for a clue about the feeling. Opening help does not deduct points.

Two players: share one device. Player 1 represents Emma; Player 2 represents Liam. Check “Turno / Turn” before answering and pass the device after pressing “Next”. Share your flowers and XP, and discuss before choosing. The turn name identifies the player, even when the scene describes the other character.

Pause: “Pausa / Pause” hides the scene and stops the voice. Press “Reanudar / Resume” to continue. These six scenes are untimed; the final arcade lets you choose timed or untimed play.

Start again: “Reiniciar escenas / Restart scenes” clears the flowers, points and progress for these six scenes and returns to scene one. Progress is saved automatically when browser storage is available; return on the same browser and device.

During review: flowers and points for the scenes you repeat are temporarily removed. Earn them back by solving those scenes. The maximum remains 60 XP.

📖 Instrucciones del reto final / Final game instructions

1. Elige «20 segundos por palabra» o «Sin límite». Pulsa «Comenzar / Start».
2. Lee la palabra inglesa y elige su equivalente español entre cuatro botones. Solo cuenta tu primera respuesta.
3. Un acierto suma 20 XP. Desde el tercer acierto consecutivo, cada acierto sin pista añade 5 XP de racha. El error no resta puntos: muestra la respuesta y se guarda para el repaso.
4. La barra indica el tiempo de esa palabra. Si se agota, aparece la solución; pulsa «Siguiente palabra». El reloj se detiene al responder o pedir ayuda.
5. «🧠 Pista» muestra la primera letra y detiene el reloj. Si aciertas con pista, ganas 20 XP, pero no bonificación de racha.
6. «Pausa» oculta el reto y para el reloj. «Reanudar» permite seguir. Al cambiar de pestaña o recargar se pausa automáticamente. «Escuchar solución» funciona después de responder.
7. Si elegiste dos personas en «Modo», alternad los turnos de Emma y Liam en el mismo dispositivo. Compartís los puntos.
8. Tras las 20 palabras, recibe tu diploma y repasa los fallos sin reloj. El repaso no añade XP. «Nueva partida» reinicia solo el reto final; «Reiniciar toda la tarea» borra todo el progreso.

English instructions

1. Choose “20 seconds per word” or “Untimed”. Press “Start”.
2. Read the English word and select its Spanish match from four buttons. Only your first answer counts.
3. A correct answer earns 20 XP. From your third consecutive correct answer, each unassisted answer earns 5 extra streak XP. Mistakes never deduct points; the correct answer is shown and saved for review.
4. The bar shows time left for the current word. When time runs out, the answer appears. Press “Next word” to continue. Answering or asking for a hint stops the clock.
5. “Hint” reveals the first letter and stops the clock. A correct answer with a hint earns 20 XP, without a streak bonus.
6. “Pause” hides the challenge and stops the clock. Press “Resume” to continue. Switching tabs or reloading pauses it automatically. “Listen to answer” works after answering.
7. With two-player mode selected above, take turns as Emma and Liam on one device. You share the points.
8. Complete 20 words to receive your diploma. Review mistakes without a timer or extra XP. “New round” resets only the final game; “Reset whole task” clears all progress.

Piensa primero y comprueba después. Une «Está contenta» con «porque hace sol». Tras un minuto, intenta recordar dos frases sin mirar.

Think first, then check. Connect the feeling with its cause. After a minute, try to recall two sentences without looking.

Usa estarto feel / to be in a state para estos estados: «Está cansado». La cara es una pista del juego; en la vida real, pregunta cómo se siente la persona.

Use estar for these states: “Está cansado”. Faces are game clues; in real life, ask how someone feels.
